Job Title: Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic

Salary: Based on Training and Experience

Location: Rockford, IL. 

Requirements:

  • Line maintenance and AOG experience
  • Engine Run and Taxi certified
  • Strong avionics background
  • Sheetmetal capabilities
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations
  • Good computer skills and ability to download and upload aircraft files as required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe
  • Ability to understand and interpret aircraft technical data
  • Effective communication in English – oral and written
  • Successfully work with others as part of a team in order to achieve established goals
  • Meet the minimum tool requirements for a technician

 

Licenses / Certifications:

  • Valid current Airframe and Powerplant license (Airframe only is acceptable)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Passport without restrictions (Preferred)

 

Experience:

Aircraft Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

Knowledge/ Experience with any of the following Aircraft/ Systems:

Beechcraft Premier 1/1A

Beechcraft 400 series

Hawker series

King Air series

Baron/ Bonanza models

Cessna 500 series

Bombardier CRJ 850

Bombardier Challenger 600 series

Embraer 135, 145

Bombardier CRJ 200, 700, 900

Bombardier Dash 8 series

Pratt & Whitney PT-6 & JT-15D Turbine Engines

Williams FJ-44 series Turbine Engines

 

SUMMARY: The A&P mechanic services, troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, preserves, maintains, and overhauls aircraft, aircraft systems, and aircraft components in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the employer, aircraft manufacturers, and FAA as contained in approved maintenance manuals.

ULD Technician

Job Title: ULD Technician

Salary: Based on Training and Experience

Responsibilities:

The ULD Technician is responsible for maintenance and repairs to Universal Load Devices

  • Performs maintenance and repairs to aircraft Universal Loading Devices (ULD) per all applicable guidelines and requirements. Understands repair procedures as outlined in the repair manuals and performs all repairs per the guidelines. Able to meet minimum productivity goals consistently
  • Ensures FAA, TSA, airport, and various airline regulations and policies are followed
  • Adheres to and enforces all safety and security guidelines
  • Prioritizes tasks
  • Works well with others and maintains composure during busy season
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently under time constraints
  • Solid and blind rivet installation and removal
  • Cutting and grinding aluminum and lexan
  • Component removal and replacement
  • Use of basic hand & power tools

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • A valid clear driver’s license
